Extending a strong support to Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s initiative for people’s front, actor Prakash Raj stated that it was an attempt to bring together like-minded political forces to create a mass movement involving people and ensure delivery of promises made to them. He said the people’s front was not against any political party and he was with Rao for the non-party politics which the latter was playing.
The presence of actor Prakash Raj at a meeting between former Prime Minister and Janata Dal (Secular) chief HD Deve Gowda and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao in Bengaluru on Friday triggered speculations and generated curiosity among people of both Telangana and Karnataka.Prakash Raj has been vociferously vouching for a change in the political system and garnered a lot of following in Karnataka. His philanthropic work in Telangana villages also won the hearts of people in the State.
TRS sources said Rao had discussions with several experts and socially conscious people from various sectors, including Prakash Raj. The actor, who spoke to the media after the meeting, also confirmed the same and stated that he was discussing various issues with the Chief Minister for the last few months. We all met as individuals who are willing to take up issues which have not been addressed for years, find solutions and make it reach to people, he explained.
